You guys, we did great! We had a $5000 goal for playground equipment and we got most of the way there with our read-a-thon (and at the height of holiday everything too!) Our final total raised was $4015 with a grand total of 48,217 minutes read! That's a lot of reading and some really amazing supporters encouraging us all to read, read, read!
In addition to the prizes below, each student has already been credited 15% of their donation earnings to "shop" from the Read-A-Thon website Prize Center. These prizes, admittedly, are better suited for elementary age students. Because of the way the program is set up, any student that does not use their prize credit will forfeit the money and it will go back to the read-a-thon company.
We have 10 DAYS or until December 31 to "shop" for prizes then they will be packed up and shipped to the school. When we return from break, they will be distributed. Students can shop by logging into their account and selecting the Prize Center.
WITHOUT FURTHER ADO, HERE ARE THE WINNERS...
